The Lisbon moment

Mario went on his first solo trip
to Porto, Portugal

No plan, no one to call there, no clue what was even happening that night. Just him and a city that didn’t know him yet.

The problem

He opened Instagram. Then Google Maps. Then Instagram again.

Hoping one of them would tell him where to go and who’d be there. Neither one was built for that. So he just sat with it — that specific kind of alone that only hits you in a new place.

Then we started

So we sat down and just... started building it.

No funding, no office, no idea if it’d actually work. Just people who’d felt the problem, trying to fix it for the next person landing somewhere new.

How we got here

2023
The prototype
First version. Kitchen table. Skopje. It barely worked, but 40 strangers used it at a warehouse night. That was enough.

The pitch
We pitched at Startup Macedonia Summit in front of 600 people and came second. The winner's app is no longer live.
2023
Reality TV
A Macedonian business reality show called our bluff and put Findzzer on national television for five weeks. We did not win. We gained 4,000 users. We did not care about winning.
2024
South Summit
Selected for South Summit in Madrid — one of 50 startups from 1,200 that applied. Eighteen thousand attendees, and somehow we found each other.

We shipped
The web platform went live. In the first week, 1,200 people followed a city. It turns out we weren't the only ones looking.

Now
Seven people
After Mario put the first version out there, more people believed in what we were building. One by one, they joined — until we became a team of seven who actually want to make this work.

The man behind the idea—our vessel pointing us forward. With over 4 years of development experience and an MSc in AI from Maribor, he bridges vision with technical execution.
02 · Software Developer & Digital Marketeer
Mila Bojarovska
On paper, she handles development and marketing, holding an MSc in Data Science and 3 years of frontend experience. In reality, her days usually include her twin sister accidentally stealing her spotlight (and her work) because no one can tell which one just saved the day!

Built the whole thing. Twice. Codes better after midnight; the rest of us have accepted this.

Angela Apostolska
Racing to keep up with the devs while making sure ideas become experiences users actually enjoy. A Software Engineering graduate from FINKI with 2 years of building and shaping Findzzer alongside dedicated industry UX experience.

Despina Apostolska
Operations and project management lead bringing 5+ years of experience in operations and tech PM, backed by an MSc from Northeastern University in Boston. She keeps the team aligned, projects on schedule, and cross-functional operations running smoothly.

Nikola Domazetovikj
The dark side of the moon in the team, working behind the scenes on everything users don’t see, but that makes everything work. He brings 4+ years of backend experience, specializing in Laravel, system architecture, and database design.
07 · AI Consultant
Emilija Gjorgjevska
AI advisor specializing in Generative AI, Knowledge Graphs, and Recommendation Systems, holding a PhD from TU Munich. She guides the technical strategy and intelligent feature integration to keep the platform ahead of the curve.
